About Track Almanac
Track Almanac is an independent, fan-made reference for Formula 1. Our tagline says what we care about: races, drivers, teams and numbers.
What you'll find here
- The current season at a glance. A calendar on a real date scale, a countdown to the next race and every session shown in your own time zone and in local track time.
- Standings after every round. Drivers' and constructors' tables, plus a full points breakdown in the style of a championship results grid.
- Every race in detail. Practice, sprint qualifying, sprint, qualifying, the starting grid with penalties explained, the complete classification, fastest lap and a lap-by-lap chart you can animate.
- Circuit maps. Drawn from GPS-traced track geometry, with an approximate three-sector split.
- An archive. Summaries of past seasons, which we are expanding into full race-by-race records.
Where the data comes from
Results, grids and session times are compiled from official published classifications and timing, cross-checked against independent sources such as the Jolpica F1 API. Every driver's points total is reconciled against the official championship standings before publication. Tyre compound selections and weekend forecasts come from published team and supplier previews. Circuit layouts use the open f1-circuits dataset by Tomislav Bacinger (MIT licence).
Accuracy and corrections
We work hard to get the numbers right, but mistakes happen and results can change after stewards' decisions. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct it.
